So, I've clearly been gone for a long time. Too long in my opinion! I'm terribly sorry for my absence, but I've been incredibly busy with school and extra activities and such. Since I've been out of the blogging world for a while, I figured I'd just do a brief blog post about a few (10) Christian songs/Christian Artists that I'd recommend giving a listen to in no particular order. I love music and many of you do as well, I'm sure, so I'm hoping you'll enjoy!
10. Be Thou My Vision- 4Him
I mean, who doesn't love a good hymnal to start off a good playlist? Cheerful, upbeat, and a classic. Be Thou My Vision is uplifting and inspires me to move closer to God so He can be MY vision.
9. The Drop- Lecrae
You want good pump up music? This is definitely a great start! Great for working out or just feeling all around awesome!
8. Not for a Moment [After All]
This song is personally one of my favorite songs when I'm going through tough times. Powerful, moving, and you'll be singing it in your head for days.
7. Good Morning- Mandisa ft. TobyMac
So, I'm not gunna lie. I HATE mornings. Yeah, I know God made wonderful sunrises, but he also made very warm beds, haha! If you need a song just to help you get going in the morning, this is definitely the one! Turn that frown upside-down!
6. All This Time- Britt Nicole
I first heard this song coming back from youth group one day. It's absolutely moving and 100% TRUE! If you're ever feeling alone or down on yourself, listen to "All This Time"!
5. Awake and Alive- Skillet
I personally love Skillet. Everything about Skillet from their Christian songs to relationship songs. Love it all! This song just really hammers in the concept of being alive with Christ. How awesome is that?!
4. This is the Stuff- Francesca Battistelli
For those of us who have a quick temper when we lose things :)
3. The Earth is Yours- Gungor
I love how unique Gungor's music is. Cheerful, alternative music that you can easily sing along to and worship God with. Enjoy!
2. Royal Tailor- Control
This song is so creative and just downright awesome! Saw these guys when they opened up for Casting Crowns and saw them again at Creation this past summer. So much talent!
1. Walking Her Home- Mark Schultz
This song definitely tugs on the romance heartstrings. Brings tears to my eyes every time I listen.
